Good News for PF Members
The Central Board of Trustees (CBT) of EPFO is going to meet in February 2026 to decide the interest rate for the year 2025-26. Sources say the government wants to keep the rate at 8.25%. This is very good because banks are giving only 7% or 7.5% on Fixed Deposits.
📅 When Will Interest Come?
After the rate is announced in February, the Finance Ministry will give final approval. The money (Interest) usually starts coming into your Passbook by August or September 2026.
