Puri: The Office of the Principal Accountant General (A&E) Odisha has issued the notification for the Annual General Transfer (AGT) 2026-27 in respect of the Divisional Accountant (DA) cadre. As per Office Order No. WM-180 dated 11.02.2026, the administration has published the list of officials due for transfer and the corresponding list of vacant divisions.

All eligible officers/officials listed in Annexure-I are directed to submit their options for station posting by 26th February 2026. The administration has emphasized strict adherence to the submission guidelines to facilitate the transfer process.

1. List of Officials Due for Transfer (Annexure-I)

The administration has identified 77 Officers (comprising DA, DAO-I, DAO-II, and Sr. DAO ranks) who are due for transfer in the current cycle. The list includes incumbents currently posted in districts such as Angul, Balasore, Bargarh, and Cuttack.

2. Schedule of Vacancies (Annexure-II)

The transfer process will address vacancies in 199 Divisions across Odisha. For administrative convenience and workload assessment, these divisions have been categorized as follows:

Division Categorization:

  • Very Heavy: Includes divisions such as R.W.S & S. Division (Cuttack) and Roads & Buildings Division (Balasore).
  • Heavy: Includes Rural Works Division (Angul) and Mahanadi South Division No. I (Cuttack).
  • Medium: Includes Minor Irrigation Division (Angul) and Drainage Division (Balasore).
  • Light: Includes National Highway Division (Pallahara) and Ong Dam Division (Padampur).

3. Guidelines for Submission of Options

The circular prescribes a specific procedure for submitting station preferences. Officials are advised to note the following conditions:

  • Requirement: Officials must submit preferences for all vacant stations (Sl. No. 1 to 78 as per the option list).
  • Deemed Application: In the event an official does not submit options for all vacant stations, it shall be assumed that the remaining stations have been applied for by the official.
  • Submission Channel: Preferences must be submitted exclusively via email to agaeorissa@cag.gov.in and ekkam@cag.gov.in.
  • Deadline: Options received after 26.02.2026 will not be entertained. Options submitted for specific “Divisions” instead of “Stations” will not be accepted.

4. Application Proforma Details

Officials must utilize the prescribed proforma for the year 2026. The form requires the following mandatory information:

Mandatory Fields
1. History of posting for the last 12 years (with joining/relieving dates).
2. Date of Last Promotion.
3. Physically Handicapped status (if applicable).
Submission Format
The preferences for stations must be filled in the separate Excel format attached with the circular. No column should be left blank.
Is physical submission of the option form permitted?

No. The notification explicitly directs officials to submit their preferences through their official Email IDs only. Hard copies are not required.

What is the consequence of partial option submission?

As per the circular, if an official fails to mark preferences for all vacant stations, the administration will deem the remaining stations as applied. This may result in posting to any of the remaining stations based on administrative requirements.
