Postal Exports 2026: RoDTEP, RoSCTL & Drawback Benefits Now Online

Trade Facilitation Update: The wait is over. The Department of Posts’ DNK Portal is now fully integrated with Customs (ICES). Exporters sending goods via Post can now claim RoDTEP, RoSCTL, and Duty Drawback electronically.
Previously, exporters faced challenges in claiming benefits because the “PBE Automated System” was not integrated with the Customs “ICES” system. With the release of Circular No. 01/2026-Customs on January 15, 2026, the CBIC has notified the integration to ensure seamless processing.
Key Benefits Enabled Electronically
The amendment to Circular 25/2022 allows the following incentives via the electronic Postal route:
- Duty Drawback: Refund of duties paid on inputs (Rules 13 & 14 of Drawback Rules, 2017).
- RoDTEP: Remission of Duties and Taxes on Exported Products.
- RoSCTL: Rebate of State and Central Taxes and Levies (Textiles/Garments).
New Procedure for Exporters (Step-by-Step)
To avail these benefits, exporters must follow the new Electronic Declaration and Processing Regulations, 2026. Here is the checklist:

| 4. Documents | Upload supporting documents (e.g., invoices) to the E-Sanchit / ICEGATE portal for every PBE. |

What if I file Manually?
If you are claiming Drawback non-electronically, the procedure remains the same as per Rule 12 of the Drawback Rules, 2017. However, switching to the electronic mode is recommended for faster processing and to access RoDTEP benefits which are now enabled electronically.
