CVC ABBFF Secretary Recruitment Details
The appointment of the Secretary to ABBFF on a contractual basis shall be initially for a tenure of 2 years. This tenure is extendable up to a maximum of 4 years in all, or upon reaching 68 years of age, whichever is earlier. The extension will be subject to an annual review of performance. Furthermore, the contract shall be terminable with a notice of three months. Once selected, the person shall be intimated to join immediately and report to the Chairman, ABBFF.
What Is the Remuneration for the ABBFF Secretary
The remuneration structure for this high-level contractual engagement is fixed. In practice, when auditing these specific high-level board appointments, the PAO processes the consolidated sum directly without standard allowance calculations, strictly adhering to the terms set by the engaging commission.
Remuneration Structure:
A consolidated monthly honorarium of Rs. 1,75,000 shall be paid, subject to tax.
Goods & Service Tax, if applicable, in this regard will be borne by RBI.
- No sitting fee shall be paid.
- No local conveyance or telephone charges will be reimbursed.
- No perks or allowances shall be payable other than the Honorarium.
- Logistic support shall be provided by RBI.
Eligibility Rules and Experience Requirements
To be eligible, the applicant should be a retired Chief General Manager or General Manager from a Public Sector Bank (PSB) or Public Sector Financial Institution (PSFI) before the closing date of submitting the application.
Who Is Eligible
Retired CGM/GM from PSB or PSFI.
Officers with adequate experience in understanding Vigilance related matters of Banking/Financial Fraud Cases.
Officers with experience working in the Credit Department of a PSB/PSFI for not less than three years.
Officers with a clean track record and no Major Penalty/Charge Sheet.
Who Is NOT Eligible
Applicants above 62 years of age.
Officers lacking 3 years of experience in HR/Vigilance, or as CVO, or as Advisor (Banking) in CVC.
Officers who have had a Major Penalty inflicted against them.

How to Apply for the CVC ABBFF Vacancy (2026)
The application process requires physical submission of the prescribed proforma. A Screening Committee at CVC shall shortlist candidates, and a few short-listed candidates shall be interviewed either in person or online. On receipt of the application, communication shall be sent on the email ID given by the applicant.

What If Information Is Found Incorrect?
In the event of any information being found false, incorrect, or incomplete at any time before or after the selection, the candidature is liable to be rejected. The applicant shall be bound by the decision of the Central Vigilance Commission.
